Apologia General Science Student Notebook 3rd EDITION
*This middle school class rotates each year with new material.
Middle School Science (6-8)
Designed to be a student's first systematic introduction to the sciences, Apologia's 6th-8th grade Exploring Creation with General Science, 3rd Ed. explores broad topics such as the scientific method, designing experiments, simple machines, geology, archaeology, biology, and more! Hands-on experiments are included throughout, giving students practical experience as they discover the principles behind science and learn how to record and report data. The final module is a project of creating a Rube-Goldberg machine, incorporating many of the scientific principles they learned throughout the year. Students will learn to see God's hand in all of life as they learn about the world He made; they will also read testimonies from modern-day scientists who interpret data through a Christian worldview. This fun, hands on class will fill quickly so register your child today !
Ms. Becky is an excellent tutor! My eighth grade son has been in her science and/or STEM classes since 3rd grade, and he loves her. With a heart for educating children, she makes every class fun and exciting, no matter the topic. She is high energy and covers a tremendous amount of material each class period without her students feeling overwhelmed with information. In addition to her desire to educate, she also has the desire to make each student comfortable in the classroom. She is very accommodating to each student’s learning style or learning needs. She makes every effort to allow students to learn in the way that is best for them. She is always open to hearing from students and parents whenever questions or concerns arise. We could not be happier with Ms. Becky as our tutor.
